Stone Features

Jolly Rogers Exclusive Stone should be laid in a similar way to natural sandstone or terracotta tiles and should be done by a qualified tiler or paviour. It is recommended that our stone be laid over a concrete slab using a cement based flexible type tile adhesive, rubberised adhesive, flexible based glue, as per laying instructions. They should be laid with an 8-10mm grout joint with expansion joints every three metres. Please see our information sheet about laying our stone.

Our large format exclusive stone pavers come in a range of sizes from 300x300x30mm, 450x450x50mm and 600x600x50mm for a square look or 600x300x50mm, 750x400x50mm and 815x400x50mm for the rectangular, stretcher bond style.

Our Bullnose comes in a wide range of similar sizes, which are perfect for pools surrounds as well as step tread and wall capping. Around the pool we make special dedicated internal and external corners which are made to suit any coping depth and come with either a sharp corner or with a radius of 175mm, 250 or 300mm. They are always made larger than the coping depth and are design to be cut down on site to match the line of the coping. We have a range of internal and external bullnose curves, which are suitable for any shaped pool. They range in radii from 900mm to 2600mm.

We also supply a specialised stone skimmer box with stone skimmer box lid with a stainless steel handle to give your pool the exlusive finishing touches. These are available in 600x750x50mm with a Bullnose Edge and a 600x600x50mm with a square edge, the lid is made 320mm in diameter and is 40mm thick with a stainless steel handle.

Please note that as a pool shell has been shaped by hand and is not a perfect radii then curved coping pieces will most likely require cutting to fit within the curve. The back arc of the curve may also require cutting to follow the inside radii.
