Jolly Rogers Exclusive Stone comes in many different products and is very versatile in its uses. Many of the products, even though they may have been made for a specific purpose, could be used in a variety of ways depending on the site and the clients requirements. Having a sound knowledge of these products allows us to recommend what products should be used to best enhance the landscape. Variations on how each product is used within a particular site will ultimately affect the overall cost of the job.
When estimating the appropriate amount of stone paving and pool surrounds to be allocated for a particular job, it is important to clarify with the client that these amounts are estimates only and should be checked by the landscaper or paviour. It is common practice within the industry to recommend or estimate 3-5% more than the amount measured to allow for cutting, and breakages within transport.
As standard with all paving/tiling products, they are priced per square/ metre and should be ordered the same way. Individual prices can be obtained by multiply the square metre rate by the unit division for each size paver. The unit division for each pavers size are 0.2025 for 450 pavers, 0.18 for 600x300 pavers and 0.36 for 600x600 pavers. Dividing the unit division of each paver with the square metre amount, will calculate the number of individual pavers required.

With regards to Bullnose pool coping, they are priced both per lineal metres as well as per piece. This seems to be the industry standard, however we do prefer that all orders be worked out by the number of individual pieces required, so to avoid any misunderstanding. Please also remember that if large Internal Bullnose corners are to be used then up to 300mm can be reduced off the lineal metre amount per direction. The same applies for the External Bullnose Corners as they have a Bullnose length of 600mm per direction.
